Every Saturday during term time, children of all ages can join in a fun filled two hours of riding and horse-related barn activities from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (reservations required).The last saddle club of the academic year and Horse Show was May 15. Regular sessions will start again in September 11 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Junior Saddle Club is an introduction to horses and riding that can be continued as long as a rider is interested. Experienced Junior Saddle Clubbers are expected to move up into our Saddle Club, which encompasses all the lesson program riders and allows them access into our Saddle Club Lounge in the Beresford Barn.
Some of the weekly activities include:
- English riding instruction
- Barn management
- Caring for small farm animals
- Western riding
- Trail Rides
- Games and gymkhana events
- Horsemanship skills
Saddle Club is not held during the Summer, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter or Heritage Week holiday periods.
The cost is $20 per session.
