As a full service Equestrian Center, our new state-of-the-art boarding barn offers 12'x12' or 12'x14' stalls.

Each stall is equipped with the capability of 24/7 live viewing via specially installed IP cameras which can be viewed from anywhere in the world.

The stalls each have individual fans, drainage and thick rubber matting. Two fully-secure tack rooms, a Saddle Club private lounge with kitchen, waiting room, laundry facilities, two outdoor wash stands and two indoor wash stands are provided, as well as daily turnout into irrigated grass pastures.

Two arenas have a special sand-clay-synthetic mixture ready for championship training. Our championship arena is 250'x 180'. We have a 400'x 200' grass arena and a smaller footed arena.

We offer fully irrigated grass paddocks as well as quarintine/medical paddocks in approximately 8 acres of dedicated space.

World-class facilities and care for your horse

Boarding includes feeding grain and hay twice a day, certain supplements, daily medications (owner supplied), daily turnout, twice daily stall maintenance and blanketing. Lawton Stables will schedule vet and farrier services as needed and perform deworming and vaccinations.

All our horses are given a top quality orchard/timothy hay mixture and a customized feed plan for each horse is provided for and included in the fee. Our boarders have access to the 600 acres of trails in the Forest Preserve as well as a large grass arena in addition to the two new arenas.

Tack Room at Lawton Stables

Most of our boarders are part of our training program at The International Riding Academy at Lawton Stables, and we are currently only accepting new boarders participating in one of the programs at the Academy or for those interested in the program but not yet fully committed.

Boarders can participate in our training and schooling program, taking a minimum of two lessons per week and schooling as needed to keep the boarder's horse in good shape.

In keeping with the team spirit we are trying to foster, all boarders are expected to participate in local competitions and team events, including our Middle and High School IEA (Interscholastic Equestrian Association) team events.
